Chromeo - Fancy Footwork - 11 Songs 39:59 runtime


Track 1 - Intro - Completely sets the mood for the cd, around the fourth or fifth time i went through it i found myself chanting along. Be excited for a couple of gems to follow

Track 2 - Tenderoni - Follows in suit in funky fashion style, electronic deliverance with some ghetto strings giving it it an instant classic feel. "Cause Your my Tenderoni!.. Cause your My Tenderoni"

Track 3 - Fancy Footwork - I feel myself get into the mood of the cd and finally start nodding my head. I went back to this track a bit i feel this is it were it takes off. Thriller'esque start, little back alley way battles with old 80 vocals. and a real spacey feel to it all.. i like it

track 4 - Bonafide Lovin' From start to finish a Gem! hands down best track on the album. Perfect delivery in the vocals to feel the mood of the funky guitar. and the strong one two in the hook!. Its on repeat! watch.. it'll be timeless.

track 5 - My Girl is calling me - I respect the formula, it fits def a shout to the talent on the keys and the classic ending with the conversation with the Vocoder! laff

Track 6 - Outta Sight - first thoughts, brings me instantly back to the late 80s' i hate shoulder pads.

track 7 - Opening Up - The hits keep comming this one takes the 2nd place spot on the cd in my vote. it hits and keeps the beat in different occassions grooving in my own!! Ya ya ya ya!! baby girl you got me loosing my cooooool!!!" a hidden break down at the end..!! nice

track 8 - Momma's Boy - A ballad of somesort. sensitive feel, good break..

track 9 - Call Me up - Clever hook, and a catchy title shout out.. With a vocoder anything is possible! haha on this track i realize they know how to breakdown, the cd transitions very well.

track 10 - Waiting 4 U - Sleeper Hit, a retro revival culmination of stocker status song. Clean delivery as with most the tracks!!!

track 11 - 100% - Is what they gave!! this cd was dope, each song just fit right.. original style in these times. The Sax really takes you out. and lets you down softly really.

Summary. Over all its amazing and a pleasure to hear. Some might not feel my enthusiasum about it, ill chalk it up to; they either didnt like the birth of electronic music, or dont dance very much. Ha, all in all its one of those i would actually buy, but on second thought ill just head to the venue next time they perform!!

i still rockout to this album once a week! In its entirety! first to last song, for me it dosent happen every often. the only other one i can think of, off hand would be the no doubt - tragic kingdom album!

zombies... at times i feel like a zombie in front my computer screen. stumbling away through the endless web, hopping from pandora, to skype, to travian, to anime and back again. all in good mindless fun. which brings me to a very random thought. one that my roommate egg, would definitely appreciate! here is some zombie art for your viewing pleasure. enjoy!.. (brains sold separately, and are not included)

- a clean design with some humor, like the layout great for a page header.

- a dark and menacing battle awaits for the hunter down the shaft.

- an old favorite, we always picture a zombie infestation with adults... i could imagine my nephews battling just as tough!!

and last but not least how can i leave out the zombie blazer? *cough* trailblazer that is.. bring me back to the old magic days.

While stumbling i happen to surf a random wave to a blog asking a "50 life question" survey. free'n my mind it says. boredom quickly insewed but some questions eased my thoughts this night so i obliged. Original >< Post enjoy...

1 - the same.. 29 is how old i feel, but if the question was worded a little differently i probably would have said 23.. (and no. what age i wish i was, is not the reword)
2 - at times i think failing, embarrassment seems to be an equally hard thing to work through. but never trying yeah that would be worse.
3 - because while in the bliss or agony of love, it can seem an eternity.
4 - without question, just look at my first 2 answers.

sydney in a dust storm! seems like global warming is sneaking around the planet in the most unexpected ways, creating an alien red sky over "down-under". this weather anomaly covering most of the eastcoast of australia is forcing people to run around and look like bandits! why does this all matter?.. well i for one was hoping, that when i arrive in sydney all i would have to wear would be shorts tanktop and my reef sandals! yep 28th of october is when i ship out! i cant wait.. but hopefully in a month it blows over, or it looks like im bringing my space boots!

web rejoice!!!! hitting comcast and other tele-giants with the jewjitsu! is our man Julius Genachowski down at f.c.c. with flashes of brilliance throwing 6 solid jabs to hammer home a strong foundation for net-neutrality. our brotha obama has been a long time supporter of the ideal, and his recent appointee has rushed out of his corner swinging to make sure it holds true! fullstory! - my roommates and i recently got hit with a warning from comcast saying our unlimited internet, was in fact limited! to our surprise a measly 250gigs was our monthly allowance, and to my joy, and pride of the house, we slayed the frail limitaion with hitting a whooping 750gigs!! (plus) ha.. threatened with a 12 month suspension with failure to comply. baaah!! with light at the end of the tunnel ill just have to be patient!

in honor of my new hair experiment and with the zen residue on my mind, it was only natural that i combine the two.. a direct result of genius thinking lead me to think of the amazing, american born, asian icon known as "the dragon" or bruce lee for those less, aficionado! the manditory history lesson can easily found on wiki - bruce lee read the following and gain equal kudos!!! i grace your eyes and your inner voices with a single thought from his own monologues..

i walked into a book store in mt. view today, calendars were 50% off. back and forth i quickly perused the selection, trying to kill a little time before the eventual ride home. nothing grabbed my attention until a collection of black and white nature style photos popped from the rack. With simplicity of designed, soy based ink on 100% recycled paper, finished with a water based coating. $7.32 was a steal to donate to the socially conscious effort! exactly what you would expect from a calendar of zen thoughts..

for anyone who knows me and my stance with religion or the idea of structured worship/faiths/doctrines, im heavy with opinions and critiques! zen included. but i must confess my understanding of zen is one of a friendship. I hold a great deal of respect and gratitude for its teachings and for those that are equally inspired enough to share and express their own findings. a balancing of real-world application and spiritual adaptations. as any advocate of any companion would express that there is a way, out there, as long as you find it.
